I was welcomed into Preliminary Fellowship with the UUA on March 25th, 2017. I will graduate from Meadville Lombard Theological School on May 20th, 2017. I recently entered the Search process and am looking for a settled parish ministry position as a solo minister in a mid-sized congregation or an assistant/associate minister in a large congregation.

Currently, I serve the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Charlotte County, FL as their Intern Minister. I volunteer with Naples Community Hospital as a Chaplain and the Lee County Emergency Operations Center as part of the Spiritual Care Team.  In the past, I served as a Lay Campus Minister at Florida Gulf Coast University for one year.  My community ministry work has deeply informed my spiritual path.  Ask me about my Theology of Hope and my Theology of Evil, both of which spring from this deeply transformative work.

Prior to entering seminary,  I worked as a Life Coach, Hypnotherapist and Nurse.  I also co-owned a PR and Marketing Firm for many years.  I also have one novel which was released in 2005 under a different name.

My Three Favorite Quotes

“What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us. And when we bring what is within us out into the world, miracles happen.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson
“The method is the message.”  –Angus MacLean
“I rise.”  –Maya Angelou

My Three Favorite Poets

The beautiful image which graces my website was created by my best friend, Shell Redfern.  She created it for my wedding to my husband Sean and it holds deep meaning for my family and my ministry.  Each of the hearts represents a member of my family, and in the center is a compass.  My family is my true north and the circle that holds us all is the love of community, and the one power, one force in the universe that is the Great Mystery.
